Digital Model of the Olympic Sculpture Park Pavilion (OSP) in Seattle, Washington

Team members: Diana (Soojin) Lee, Yan Li, Janice Ng

As part of our class, we were to create a digital and physical model of the Olympic Sculpture Park Pavilion in Seattle designed by Weiss/Manfredi. The purpose of this exercise was to get us familiar with post-production (mainly using Photoshop) of our digital models, as well as to familiarize us with the ‘program’ of various spaces and the purpose they serve. Digital renders that were created begin at image 13.

My role was to create the content for our slides (which were presented to the class and professor/TA), co-design them and adapt the ‘scale people’ seen in various shots to fit the space. These tasks were completed using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop CS5. This was an integral project, as much of it was referenced on our trip to Seattle the following week, where we had less than 24 hours to come up with a building, its function, and how it fits the space (of the existing OSP building).
