For an eight-month co-op term from September 2013 – May 2014, I worked as the Special Projects Assistant at SFU Career Services. Here are some of my projects:
Blog, Banner, Pamphlet & E-Newsletter Banner
The first image seen here was a promotional banner in mid-December for the Career Services blog, called the Informer. The mascot is not my design, however using Photoshop I was able to make a snow effect on the background and text. The red background is SFU’s primary branding colour.
The next three images were for an event I co-organized, with the branding also being my responsibility. The event was meant to ‘demystify’ the myth that English majors do not easily gain employment after graduation. Thus, various non-traditional fields such as multimedia and law were included in the circles on the cover of the pamphlet. The final image was a banner used in the weekly Career Services e-newsletter that went out to students.
